Why I ride
FKokoAugust 15, 20263 min
People ask me why I ride. The honest answer changes depending on the day, the weather, and how the legs feel.
Some days it's the competition. The desire to be faster, to push harder, to see what I'm capable of. Other days it's the escape — the trails, the trees, the silence between shifts.
“The bike doesn't care about your excuses. It only cares about your effort.”
But mostly, I ride because it's the one thing in my life that's entirely mine. No group projects, no deadlines, no compromises. Just me, the trail, and how hard I'm willing to work.
That's why I ride. Not for medals or kudos. For the clarity.
